From the 1800's, these sconces are huge in size with each measuring 22" tall with a 13 1/2" projection from the wall. The round back plate measures 11 3/8" in diameter.
They are made of cast iron and are currently candle top sconces. Large candles are placed in the top well - which also has a 3" spike at the center. The paint has worn off in areas (can certainly be repainted) and one of the wings on one of the angels is cracked - however it remains attached to the rest of the body fine.
These are very unique and heavy.
