This sconce is wired to plug into a wall outlet. The cord is 40" long and there is a pull chain at the top of the socket to turn on or off.
The base is wrought iron and has updated wiring. It has been painted black and does have some blemishes here and there, however there are no cracks, chips or breaks. The socket assembly at the top neck is adjustable to position north, south, etc. and is secured with the side butterfly wingnut. The fitter set has 3 set screws to secure the shade and has a size of 2 1/2" in diameter. The fixture is shown using a 60 watt soft bulb.
The glass shade has a clear rim/edge offsetting it's soft white color. It has a hexagon shape with tight grooves/flutes throughout. Mint condition.
